Ms Barbara McNeill

Personal Assistant to STIRC Director

Barbara started work as a junior medical secretary in a large teaching hospital in Sheffield, progressing to PA to the Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Sheffield.

She migrated to Australia in 1983 where she continued her hospital career as Secretary to the Head of the Clinical School at St Margaret’s Hospital, Sydney culminating in her present position as PA to the Director of STIRC.

She has a vast general knowledge of all things 'secretarial' and enjoys the variety of working in an academic environment. Oh yes – and makes a mean cup of coffee!!
